It all comes down to Relationships...
We are social creatures who desire and need connection with others.
The relationships we have with family, friends, neighbors, business associates, and co-workers--
while they can provide joy, security, and love—they can also become a source of overwhelming stress in our lives.

TRAUMA
Damaged relationships often result in trauma. Sometimes damage is caused by a singular or series of traumatic events, inflicted by outside forces, people we know, and even by people we love. These experiences can flood a person with a sense of helplessness. Trauma, whether emotional, physical, sexual, or neglect, can shade the world as dangerous and unpredictable, and creates emotional chaos and overwhelms a sense of self.

ANXIETY
When we feel insecure in our relationships, it causes anxiety. Everyone feels anxious at times, but anxiousness can turn into chronic anxiety that negatively affects our lives and our relationships with others. Unresolved anxiety often results in depression.

DEPRESSION
Depression is a natural response to loss and disappointment. There are many losses that a person can grieve... the end of relationships due to death or break-up, health problems, loss of employment, and empty-nest syndrome, for example.
